It combines White Lightning muscle with the recognized 7-stage charging and desulfation technology of BatteryMINDer® brand chargers. It’s easy to understand the advantage of having more power – faster charging for larger lead-acid aircraft batteries. Our new Model BMC24 charger-maintainer-desulfator delivers up to 10 amps of current – 250% more than a stand-alone BatteryMINDer.
World-Wide Control
The White Lightning mobile device app allows monitoring and control by Wi-Fi from anywhere. Hangar temperature. Battery condition. Charging status. Notifications to alert you in the event of any unusual conditions. Like any app, notifications may be set up to your preference.
Aviation Specific
The White Lightning charger lets you choose a charging profile to match your specific lead-acid battery brand and specification. Our engineers work closely with VDC and major aviation battery manufacturers to achieve the very best charging techniques, potentially adding years to the life of your battery.
Automatic, Unattended Operation
Truly, you can set it and forget it. The White Lightning BMC24 is designed to operate on a continuous cycle or in scheduled sessions spaced at the intervals you choose. Charging is temperature compensated, and initial charge can be programmed to allow a post-flight cool-down period.
Operational Data
In the same way that an engine monitor tracks operation of your engine, the SmartGPU event log records significant changes that occur during maintenance charging. This event log can be downloaded to the SmartGPU’s USB port for analysis.
Airframe Interface Kit Included
The BMC24 includes a battery access wiring kit of standard aircraft grade components for your licensed mechanic to install for a quick and easy maintenance charging connection to your aircraft. The installation is eligible as a minor alteration and approved by a simple airframe maintenance logbook entry - it does not require an STC or field approval.
